God, Your Son taught about true happiness. “Blessed are the poor in spirit,” not those in poverty, but “the poor in spirit,” whether they be rich or poor. God, in real life there is little relationship between wealth and happiness. Help me to be “poor in spirit,” knowing that I do not need riches, but that I DO need Your Word, Your forgiveness, and Your gifts of joy and peace.
