Called Out From Among the Called Out
It is easy to be a Christian —— you just receive the free gift of grace!
When it comes to being an overcomer it takes work.
It is not so easy to deny self; it is not so easy to be crucified and nailed to the cross; it is not so easy to stand alone answering the call of God; it is not so easy to b persecuted for righteousness sake; it is not so easy for the old man to let go and allow the new man to rise up. Overcomers work daily at overcoming the world, the flesh and the devil.
Overcomers are a special breed ——- called out from among the called out.
A Special Message For You:
Will God allow you to express your true feelings? Of course He will. He created us to make choices in the hope that we would always choose Him. He will never make us do good, or do wrong. He simply allows us to choose and thus we are responsible for the choices we make.
Where do you turn when others turn on your? Who will you cry out to when no one, seemly, cares or understands? People are not your problem. We do not fight against flesh and blood(people), our warfare is with the enemy of our soul (Ephesians 6:12). As long as you allow the enemy to deceive you, by causing you to look at people, you wll never be able to accept or acknowledge the sovereignty of God. He, GOD, is in total control. So whatever is going on in your life it is because God wants it to be happening. Your response should be Lord, what do you want from me? Lord, you have my attention, now what….?
The time has come for overcomers to get into the fight spiritually. Instead of getting angry at people you need to get mad at the devil. He is the one motivating them to say and do things that push all your buttons. Your fight is with him, soldier.
Soldier’s learn how to go after the enemy and not wait for the enemy to come for them. Offense, Offense, you see what the devil is doing, now you go and attack him in the spiritual realm, through prayer.
Are you ready to advance? Or do you just want to sit and let the enemy wear you out? It is his job, you knknow, to steal, kill and destroy. He does it well, after all, he has been doing it for over 2000 years.
When will you die so that new life can spring forth? That new life is Christ who lives in you.
Why can’t you see the soverignty of God instead of the tactics of the enemy? When will you understand that God is in control and he allows the enemy to get at us any way he can? Tribulations will work to make you what God wants you to be. Joseph told his brothers, “you meant it for evil but God meant it for good”. Genesis 50:20…Read Genesis 45 also.
God is doing a secret work, while the enemy is in the forefront making havoc with your life. Esther 6:6-9, two things were happening at one time. Haman was planning on killing Mordecai while the King was planning on honoring Mordecai. Read that chapter. God has a secret, a purpose greater than you can see. God is working when you don’t see an answer. Read 2 Corinthinans 4:8-12, 17. Also read Job 23:8-10. Job did not blame his friends or his wife for not standing with him. He trusted God even in midst of his darkest despair. “He knows the way I take…and when I’ve been tried I will come forth as pure gold.” Gold can only be purified in the fire, hot, hot fire.
Until you obey God, and do what he has told you, everything around you will continue to go haywire. God is trying to get your attention, but you only see the natural and not the spiritual.
My feelings hinder the spirit.
My natural mind fights the Mind of Christ.
My will blocks the will of God.
When will you allow tribulations to nail you to the cross? When will you die to self life and let spirit life come forth and rule.
You are a soldier and nothing comes easy for soldiers. Boot camp is hell. When boot camp is over you move on to your duty station. God is trying to get you to your duty station. Listen to Him. It is up to you to determine when your boot camp is over.
