CHANGING HOW YOU SPEAK

Isaiah 57:19,   “I CREATE THE FRUIT OF THE LIPS”.  This principle of God works no matter what words you speak.  Many of us wonder why life isn’t as good as it could be, or why things seem to be going bad.  Pay attention to the words you speak and to the words you let enter into your hearing, and your spirit.

Take charge of your life and stop hanging around negative speaking people.  Not only will they bring negative into their lives, but yours too.  Learn how to counteract the negative that you hear.  For instance, if some one says that life is a drag, you should counteract that by saying, God is good and life is good.  Or something to that affect.  Refuse to let the discontentment of others burden you down.  Learn how to encourage others to keep their eyes on the Lord.  As you do that, you will find that you are really encouraging yourself.

Practice speaking the word.  Get a bible promise book, and began to speak forth the promises of God.  Not just read, but actually open your mouth and say the words.  Faith comes by hearing…..if you speak then you can hear yourself speak.  Christians today must learn how to live the Christian life.  So often, we become Christians,  we are never taught how to live, and thus we continue down the same old (man) path.

Kingdom living is simply allowing the King (God) to run your life.  Learn to speak the language of the King.  The Kings language is the bible.  When you know the Word of God and can speak the Word of God back to the King then you are on your way to victorious living.  The King knows what is best for you, and He wants you to relinquish your rights and turn them over to Him.

“Father, thank you for your word; You sent your word to heal and to deliver and your word will never return to you void.  It will always accomplish what it is sent forth to do.  Have your way in my life and in the lives of those who are willing to take up their cross and follow you.  You are a good shepherd and will never lead us down the wrong path.  Continue to lead and guide us into all truth and righteousness.  We willingly follow!   Amen”
