Inspiration: Shall We Resurrect!

Resurrect…  By definition, resurrect means to bring back to life; raise from the dead. It also means to bring back into practice, notice, or use.

Without a doubt, the resurrection of Jesus Christ was the ultimate, but wouldn’t you agree that perhaps the body of Christ could use a little resurrecting too? Have we not become somewhat stagnant and complacent with our growth and our walk? Can you recall the last time you ministered to someone? Have you invited anyone to church lately? Have you told anyone about all the situations God has brought you through? Could it be time for the dormant spirit in you to be resurrected, brought back to life, raised from the dead, and brought back into practice, notice, or use? Of course it is! Wake up spirit; it’s time for a resurrection!

Allow this Sunday to be the first day of the rest of your Spirit-filled life! Commit to celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of you! And while you’re at it, tell a friend!

But as to the resurrection of the dead–have you never read what was said to you by God, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead but of the living!

Matthew 22:31-32 (Amplified)
