Do you know who you are? Not your name or what you do, but who you are. Whose identity do you possess? Is it your own or someone else’s? Who do you act like most?
God’s Word teaches us that “God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and
female He created them.” -Genesis 1:27. We are born of God; we are joint heirs with Christ. We are the chosen, the elite and the elect. If you ever have any doubt about your worth or significance, remember that you are a workmanship of God. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” -Ephesians 2:10. We were created perfect, by a perfect God with a perfect plan, and for a perfect purpose. Now that you know who you are…walk in it!
For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. Deuteronomy 14:2 (NKJV)
