WE ARE WARRIORS!
Do you realize, as men and women of God, we are warriors? Each day as we don our armor and step onto the battlefields with honor, integrity, and perseverance it is important that we tread carefully – even stealthfully, because like walking in a mine field, something could blow at any minute. And because we are often just thrown into the thick of things, it is to our advantage that we are so well-prepared and well-armed. Where does this preparedness come from? It comes from the hope we have in God, and in trusting in His promises.
We must be diligent at encouraging others to join in the battle, to stand up for all they believe in, and to put their hearts on the line as well. As we plow through the front lines of the world, we do so unafraid and unabashed because we know the outcome and know that what we are doing is making a global difference.
So stand strong, with the belt of truth tied around your waist and the protection of right living on your chest. On your feet wear the Good News of peace to help you stand strong. And also use the shield of ffaithwith which you can stop all the burning arrows of the evil one. Accept God’s salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
