This world is full of so much sexual sin, its become an epidemic. There is fornication, adultery, homosexuality, molestation, prostitution…must it go on? When this type of behavior is addressed, the usual reply is “Well, it’s my body; I can do what I want to do.” These poor misguided people fail to realize our bodies are not our own. We are (our bodies) are the temple of God and we must not defile it. We were bought with a great price. Our brother, Jesus Christ, paid for us with His life. Would you have done the same” I doubt it. Let’s honor Him for His sacrifice. Let’s honor Him with what rightfully belongs to Him.
Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6: 18-20
