Who Will You Listen To?

Have you ever considered how many different voices you hear in a day? Between the television and radio, newspaper and magazines – not to mention family, friends, and co-workers – we are barraged with an insurmountable volume of vain, erroneous, non-biblical, ungodly philosophy. And our little pea-brains are challenged with what we are to retain and what to discard. If only we had a filtering system, a way to extract and apply what’s good for us and censor the rest. Well, guess what…we do! We have a helper like no other; a counselor whose sole purpose is to keep us on the right path, which leads us in the way we are to go.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
