Hurry Up and Wait…
Hurry, hurry, hurry. Wait, wait, wait. Hurry to work, school, appointments. Wait in line, traffic, for payday. These days, the hustle and bustle of life tends to make us grow tired and weary. Some days we just want to give up or go and crawl under a rock just to find some peace. Isn’t it a blessing to have the assurance that God holds our lives in His hands and that He wants only what is good for us? I thank God that we don’t have to be victims of society. We are victorious, in Him.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
