If there was a biblical earthly father in the bible for us to follow, that man was Abraham, who was not just a “Man of Faith”, but a “Man of God”.
I believe, we as fathers and Godly men, should be a representative of God to others, a leader, have vision and a purpose, empower others, be strong willed, be wise and carry all this in Love & Meekness.
There are some GOOD instructional teaching scriptures for us men in being fathers, and they are as follows:
Ephesians 6:4
Colossians 3:21
Proverbs 22:6 & 29:17
