There have been things happening in my life lately that has literally made me want to pull my hair out; that is, what hasn’t already fallen out. Thank God for wigs and weaves because without them I’d probably look like a hot mess.
But in spite of my tests, trials and tribulations, I am still able to muster up a smile that enhances my beauty, both inside and out. Yes, I said it. I’m beautiful! Not to the credit of the wigs, weaves, clothes, or even myself. I’m beautiful because Christ lives in me. He has molded and shaped me from the inside out and it is His radiance that exudes from me. I stand tall with my head held high because I’m representing my Father, and although trouble may swell up all around me, I rest confidently in the bosom of my Daddy who promises to never leave nor forsake me. Yes, I’m beautiful and rest assured, if the Spirit of God resides in you, you’re beautiful too – absolutely gorgeous!
If an army surrounds me, I will not be afraid. If war breaks out, I will trust the Lord. I ask only one thing from the Lord. This is what I want: Let me live in the Lord’s house all my life. Let me see the Lord’s beauty and look with my own eyes at his Temple.
