You know, If God is Love and Christ is God and The Book of Peter tell us to be Christ-like and minded,then the Mark of the Christian should be the Love Walk of Jesus Christ. In the music industry the common trait is rhythm whether Gospel Reggae, or Rock & Roll. Well it should be like that in the Christian community as well. Whether Pastor, Church Secretary, Youth Asstistant, Bishop or Usher we should all be walking in love.
Remember 1st Corth.13 tells us that without love in our walk and gifts, we profit NOTHING. But before we get to the teaching of what and how to get the Love Walk, we must first look at ourselves and what we need to do.
It’s all about the Ministry and the Ministry is all about the Love Walk of Jesus Christ and to fulfill this mission we have to be living the Love Walk of Jesus Christ personally.
This is how it begins:
Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship.
What God is telling us thru the writings of Paul is that we are to dedicate everything about ourselves to God – not just our possessions, money, time, energy, and efforts, but also our bodies, minds, emotions, attitudes, and our WILL. Let’s not forget our soul is the mind, emotion and will. We need to be willing to give this to Christ just to get started down this Love Walk.
Remember, only the Holy Spirit that dwells inside us can give us the power to pull this off.
